About the Song:

I arranged this piece per the welcome of a Bahá’í client and her family It was used in music therapy sessions and sung at the client’s memorial service. I grew up with the melody sung to the text “Of the Father’s Love Begotten.”

This piece originally appeared as the second song on Disc 1 of Honoring the Passage: Voices from Hospice Music Therapy & beyond, a three-disc collection produced by Carolyn Koebel in 2014.
